I'm looking forward to a fantastic year for Medicats. This was the first club I joined on campus and has enabled me to be well integrated into pre-medicine here at UK and navigate the process while hearing from experienced and knowledgable physicians. I firmly believe Medicats is the best pre-med club on campus and has so much to offer, so I will work diligently as president to uphold the standard and take Medicats to the next level alongside this incredible team.

I am excited for Medicats because it offers a unique opportunity to peer into the lives of different physician specialties from a first hand perspective. It is also a great opportunity for networking and building connections with fellow pre-med students who are experiencing the same challenges as myself. Medicats is all around a great club and I look forward to bringing physicians in to show us their side of healthcare!

I’m most excited for all the events that will help our future doctors learn what it means to serve and to learn what it means to be an MD, through our volunteer opportunities and MD speakers.

I joined Medicats to gain opportunities to make pre-med friends and learn from those going through the same process as me. This club has helped me gain exposure to the medical field and participate in exciting opportunities! As the merch chair, I am excited to create unique clothing for members to represent the club while volunteering or just around campus.

As a member of Medicats, I have had the opportunity to meet like-minded students and physicians. I have built many meaningful relationships with other pre-medical students and learned a lot about volunteering, shadowing, the MCAT, and the medical field. As the Vice President of Outreach, I'm looking forward to collaborating with everyone on the executive board and physicians in different specialties to plan fun and informative meetings for our members!!
